| Shelter Outreach Pawsitively Heaven is proud to support area shelters by sponsoring homeless pets. Pawsitively Heaven supports adoption of homeless pets and assists in many ways to find homes and match these pets with families. Call 708-636-3647 for information on available pets. Here are the stories of some of our little angels:
Trixie the Pittsie
A recent addition to our Pet Resort, Trixie is a trim, muscular year-and-a-half-old, very pretty light-brindle girl with little white socks and tummy. She is an enthusiastic ball player who loves to shag throws and will even bring the ball back! She absolutely loves to run and play outside and would like a family life that allows for her high energy level. She likes a little privacy when having a meal, but who doesn't once in awhile? Like most dogs, Trixie would be a great candidate for obedience school; she is very quick at picking up commands and is eager to please. Sheʼs working diligently with her friends here on her house training and making great progress. Trixie would love to find a forever family who can show her what life would be like in a nice, caring home.
Dora (Dog, not Explora)
Our Cinderella story, Dora had a pretty rough, tough life before landing at Pawsitively Heaven; she was timid and fearful of people, noises, anything that moved. She must have had a wicked stepmother in her past! Thanks to the time, patience, love and understanding of her wonderful friends at the resort Dora has blossomed into a fun-loving and friendly princess who can instantly brighten anyone’s day. She can still be shy at the beginning of a relationship, whether with people or dogs, but she does quite well after being properly introduced. Dora is also a good dog with children. She is lucky enough to socialize at weekly sleepovers at the home of one of our pet resort employees and spends happy times there with a three- year-old child and two other female dogs. Dora is a beautiful three-year-old tan and white spayed pitty who does need to take one thyroid pill each day but does so very willingly. She’d be so grateful to be offered that glass slipper of a forever home that she would be happy to show her new family her true colors: love, devotion and goofy good times!

Sign Up to be one of our Heavenly Heroes!
![]() ![]() At Pawsitively Heaven our boarding guest dogs each need to be walked five times daily. So when our dear customers, Fran and Tom Bill, volunteered to spend their spare time with two of our orphans we immediately bestowed them with leashes and all-access passes to the dogs' suites. These two loving dog owners walk some of our shelter dogs several days a week. The Bills love to spend time bonding with the dogs who greatly appreciate the human contact, since they don't have a family to go home to when day is done. Fran and Tom are truly our heroes!
Please let our Front Desk know if you have some spare time and would enjoy being a Big Bro or Sis to an orphan dog and you'll be our Heavenly Hero, too!
