American Boarding Kennel Association
We are members of the ABKA, which requires participating
boarding kennels to demonstrate their adherence to a comprehensive set of operational standards. These standards include over
200 detailed requirements for boarding kennels and were developed over many years by the ABKA, the international trade association
for the owners and operators of commercial boarding kennels. The standards reflect the views of kennel operators, veterinarians,
pet owners, and humane organizations and thus represent the "state of the art" in animal care and management.
Boarding kennels accredited by the ABKA must submit detailed information about their animal care procedures and business
policies and submit to an on-site inspection. This program offers pet owners the assurance that accredited facilities have
earned the ABKA "stamp of approval" by successfully completing this comprehensive program.

Association of Companion Animal Behavior Counselors
The Association of Companion Animal Behavior Counselors (ACABC) is
an international, non-profit professional membership organization whose mission is to promote scientific education in the
field of applied companion animal behavior, to encourage the use of humane and non-aversive methods of animal training and
behavior modification, and to make available to the general public and the veterinary profession a readily available group
of companion animal applied behavior professionals. Members agree to subscribe to the organization's Code of Standards
and Ethical Conduct at all times.
